Meet Lily Wallace! Lily is a recent graduate of North Hall High School and plans to attend Georgia Tech in the fall.
Question: Please tell us a little bit about your family.
Answer: “My mom’s name is Sondra Wallace-Foster, and my dad is Glenn Wallace. My stepmom’s name is Chelsea Wallace, and my stepdad’s name is Chad Foster. I have two step-siblings, Ashlie and Shelby, and I have two half-siblings, Rhett and Claire. There will be a quiz on this information later. Just kidding; no quiz.”
Q: What are your plans after graduation?
A: “I will be attending the Georgia Institute of Technology beginning in Fall 2022. After obtaining an undergraduate degree, I plan to attend dental school followed by specialist training and certification to become an orthodontist.”
Q: What are two of your favorite restaurants in our community?
A: “Zen Ramen & Sushi Burrito (<3) and Bluefin.”
Q: If you could travel anywhere in the world right now, where would it be and why?
A: “The Atacama Desert because I love stargazing, and the Atacama is on every stargazer’s bucket list.”
Q: What is one of your favorite movies? TV shows?
A: “‘Pride and Prejudice’ (2005) is my absolute favorite movie, and ‘New Girl’ is one of my favorite TV shows.”
Q: If you were asked to give advice to your senior class and the younger students at your school, what would you say?
A: “Time management is key. If you can figure out how to manage your time well, your high school career, and life for that matter, will go a lot smoother.
“Don’t slack off your freshman year. It’s easy to do but can be difficult to remedy later on.
Cultivate as many friendships as possible, but don’t base your identity (who YOU are) on your friendships.
“Be kind. You never know the battles someone may be fighting in their mind or behind closed doors.
“And on that note: lead with love, and everything else will follow suit!”
Q: If you were able to be cast as yourself into a television show or series, what show would you want to be in?
A: “I think it would be SO cool to be in ‘Avatar: The Last Airbender’ (only if I were a bender though).”
Q: If you could choose anyone to have lunch with, who would you choose? Why? And where, locally, would you meet for this lunch?
A: “I’d want to have lunch with my Mommy Pam. She passed before I was born, and I’d love to hear her life story, and tell her mine, over a passionfruit cheesecake and blackberry juice at Diletto.”
Q: What is your favorite thing about our community?
A: “The people, the lake, and Food Truck Fridays.”
Q: Where do you see yourself in 5 to 10 years?
A: “Hopefully, in dental school or working on my orthodontic training.”
Q: What is something on your bucket list?
A: “Owning and captaining a sailboat.”
Q: What is your go to band / singer when you cant decide what to listen to?
A: “One Direction. Every. Single. Time.”
Q: Favorite month? favorite holiday? and best single day on the calendar?
A: “I’m a big fan of May. My favorite holiday(s) are birthdays. And my ideal date? That’s a tough one. But, I’d have to say April 25th (just a little Miss Congeniality joke for you).”

Q: Who inspires you to be better?
A: “My family.”
