Meet Caroline Reisman! Caroline will soon be graduating from Gainesville High School and will be attending the University of Georgia in the fall. Caroline’s parents are Andrew and Elizabeth Reisman and she has two brothers: Charlie and Robert.

Please tell us a little bit about your family.
“I have a two brothers. Charlie is my twin brother who also attends Gainesville and Robert is my older brother who graduated from Gainesville two years ago and now plays basketball at Oglethorpe University. My mom is Elizabeth Reisman and she’s a Hall County Magistrate Court Judge. My dad is Andrew Reisman and he’s a Family Doctor for the Longstreet Clinic.’

What are your plans after graduation?
“After graduation I’m attending The University of Georgia and am planning to major in economics and get my BBA.”

What are two of your favorite restaurants in our community?
“Taqueria Tsunami and Locos.”

If you could travel anywhere in the world right now, where would it be and why?
“If I could travel anywhere in the world it would probably be Europe. I’ve never been before and I’m super interested in study abroad programs in college to countries like Italy and Greece.”

What is one of your favorite movies? TV shows?
“My favorite movie is ‘The Blind Side’ and my favorite TV show is ‘Grey’s anatomy.'”

If you were asked to give advice to your senior class and the younger students at your school, what would you say?
“If I could give advice to any seniors and underclassman at Gainesville it would be to get involved in some way whether it’s sports of clubs, those outlets really help you cherish all the moments of high school and have a more meaningful experience.”

If you were able to be cast as yourself into a television show or series, what show would you want to be in?
“I would probably want to be in a random show like ‘The Office’ one that’s funny so that I wouldn’t get bored.”

If you could choose anyone to have lunch with, who would you choose? Why? And where, locally, would you meet for this lunch?
“If I could have lunch with anyone it would probably be someone influential like Albert Einstein just because he was such a well known genius. I would most likely take him to Luna’s in town because I would want it to be more formal.”

What is your favorite thing about our community?
“My favorite thing about the Hall County community and more specifically the Gainesville community is the constant support of the school and especially all the athletics programs. The community as a good whole is amazing at providing support and you just can’t find that many places.”

Where do you see yourself in 5 to 10 years?
“In five to ten years I’ll have graduated college and hopefully be working a job in some sector of the financial world in a city like Atlanta or maybe in a community like Gainesville or even be back in Hall County.”

What is something on your bucket list?
“Skiing in the Swiss Alps is on my bucket list. I’ve been skiing in North Carolina and Colorado my whole love and it’s truly an amazing sport especially in a place as beautiful as Switzerland.”

What is your go to band / singer when you cant decide what to listen to?
“Anything Luke Combs or SZA is my go to.”

Favorite month? favorite holiday? and best single day on the calendar?
“My favorite month is July because it’s such a peak of summer activity and fun without school starting being too close. My favorite holiday of the year is New Years Eve because it’s so exciting for a new year to start and there always a good party happening. My favorite day of the year is December 23rd because it’s my moms birthday.”

What would you rate a 10 out of 10?
“I would rate ‘No Flockin’ by Kodak Black a 10/10.”

Who inspires you to be better?
“My mom inspires me to be better. She’s a perfect example of a parent who pursues her career while also being constantly present for all of her kids. She works so hard to make sure everyone has everything they need and is happy. She’s who I want to be when I grow up.”
