Your Name
Noah Clay

What High School do you attend?
Gainesville High School.

Please tell us a little bit about your family.
I grew up with a great family, we traveled a lot and made amazing memories. I’ve got two younger sisters Lily Grace Clay and Weatherly Clay, who are both in highschool and of course, my mother Juli Hayes and father Brooks Clay.

What are your plans after graduation?
I’d like to continue working for Carroll Daniel and working towards my commercial construction management degree at Lanier Tech.

What are two of your favorite restaurants in our community?
Atlas pizza and The Collegiate.

If you could travel anywhere in the world right now, where would it be and why?
Jamaica has always been a bucket list destination for me simply because I love the beach and I love to fish and I think the mountains in Jamaica are gorgeous and would love to visit.

What is one of your favorite movies? TV shows?
My favorite show is hands down “The Office.”

If you were asked to give advice to your senior class and the younger students at your school, what would you say?
I’d say your biggest struggle in highschool will be finding the right balance between fun and hard work. I can speak on this myself, but I feel like in highschool you have a lot of new opportunities of freedom with first cars and curfews and parties and all these things that are new to you when you enter highschool, and the hardest part you’re going to have is trying to balance the ability to have fun and make memories but also at the same time be setting yourself up for a successful future for when you’re out of school.

If you were able to be cast as yourself into a television show or series, what show would you want to be in?
“The Office.”

If you could choose anyone to have lunch with, who would you choose? Why? And where, locally, would you meet for this lunch?
I’d say Deshawn Watson just because I’ve always looked up to him as an example of a role model young man and him graduating from the same hallways…I think being able to talk to him and learn some life lessons from someone like him would be incredible.

What is your favorite thing about our community?
I love the fact that our community is so diverse yet we all come together as one city. I also love the square and I think that the square is a huge part of our community and brings us all together very well.

Where do you see yourself in 5 to 10 years?
Ideally working for Carroll Daniel helping to continue building our community.

What is something on your bucket list?
Eventually I’d like to move out West and buy some land. After traveling all over the US, I knew that eventually I’d settle down out West.

What is your go to band / singer when you cant decide what to listen to?
Gavin Adcock.

Favorite month? favorite holiday? and best single day on the calendar?
I’d say my favorite month is July. I’m a huge lake person and I really enjoy to wake surf and really just get out on the water and normally July is when the lake gets really busy, so I’d say July.

Who inspires you to be better?
My mother.
