Meet Eliana Bean! Eliana is the Director of Marketing & Events at NoFo Brew Co. She moved to Gainesville about a year ago with her husband Barry.

We want to thank Eliana for recently spending time with us and letting us know about her life and love of Hall County.

Q: Please tell us a little bit about your family.
A: “My family and I grew up in Northern California and moved to Georgia in the early 2000s. We’ve always loved the outdoors, so living so close to the North Georgia Mountains and Lake Lanier in Gainesville is awesome!”

Q: Please tell us about your current career. What do you love most about what you do?
A: “I serve as the Director of Marketing with NoFo Brew Co across Gainesville, Cleveland and Cumming. My favorite thing about what I get to do is working with such an amazing team. The group of people we get to work with at NoFo and the surrounding community make every day fun.”

Q: What are a couple of your favorite restaurants in our community?
A: “I’m a big fan of Consuelo, Cotto and Sizzling Spices. Also, shoutout to Meadowlark too for favorite coffee spot.”

Q: How long have you lived or worked in our community?
A: “My husband and I purchased our first home in Gainesville just over one year ago. I’m excited to celebrate my 3rd anniversary with NoFo Brew Co this upcoming February.”

Q: If you could travel anywhere in the world right now, where would it be and why?
A: “I’ve always wanted to travel to Iceland or Norway to see the Northern Lights.”

Q: What is your favorite thing or something unique about our community? And secondly, what is something you hope our community has or does in the future?
A: “I’ve never lived in such a tight-knit community. The sense of belonging here is so strong. From the professional side with NoFo to the personal side, community is so strong across Gainesville through every avenue. From the local Publix always offering to help take groceries to everyone’s car to smiling faces and security at jury duty, this community is really special. I’ve gotten to meet more restaurant and business owners in this community than ever before, and it is wonderful to see everyone’s sense of pride in their craft. I’m proud to get to serve on our Gainesville Main Street Advisory Board and give back to our community in any way I can.”

Q: What is something on your bucket list?
A: “I’ve gone bungee jumping, but haven’t been skydiving yet, so that one is up there!”

Q: What is your go to band when you can’t decide what to listen to?
A: “Fleet Foxes.”

Q: What is the most beautiful place you have ever been?
A: “Kaikoura, New Zealand.”
