Meet Janet Roland, a technology teacher at Gainesville Middle School. Janet grew up in the small town of Hartwell, Ga., and has lived here in Hall County for the last 16 years.
Janet’s late husband, Lance Roland, was a football coach and counselor at Gainesville High School. She says that his impact on students and their lives is what led her to wanting to teach. Janet has two children, Mason (17 years old) and Grace (15 years old), who both attend Gainesville High School.
We recently had the chance to sit down with Janet and learn more about her and her love of Hall County.
