Meet Ashley Filson! Ashley is representing the Braselton Rotary in the 2017 Gainesville- Hall County Charity Ball. Ashley is the daughter of John and Beverly Filson, has triplet siblings and is a senior at Gainesville High School.
She is a member of the Interact, Deca and Key clubs, and has played Varsity volleyball for three years.
After graduation, Ashley plans major in Business.
We want to thank Ashley for sitting down with us recently and answering questions about her life and love of Hall County.
Question: How long have you lived in Hall County?
Answer: “13 years.”
Q: Tell us a little about the charity you are representing.
A: “I am representing Braselton Rotary Club as their Charity Ball Belle and I am thrilled to be raising money for Junior League’s Feeding our Future.”
Q: What is one of your favorite childhood memories?
A: “One of my favorite childhood memories is moving up from Savannah to Gainesville. I have loved growing up here as a Red Elephants and I got to meet lifelong friends. ”
Q: Who has been your favorite teacher?
A: “My favorite teacher is Mr. Rick Howard. I took his year long AP World History Class freshman year. He knew how to keep a class entertained while teaching and always wanted the best for every single one of his students.”
Q: What is your favorite restaurant in Hall County and what do you get there?A: “My favorite restaurant in Hall County is Bluefin, I get the hibachi chicken with fried rice.”
Q: Where do you plan to attend college?
A: “I am currently undecided, but I attend to major in business.”
Q: What is your favorite social media platform?
A: “My favorite social media platform is Instagram. I love being able to see the different things people are doing and what makes them happy.”
Q: “What are you asking for from Santa this year?
A: “This year I am asking Santa for clothes and shoes.”
