Meet Ella Grace Lawler! She is a senior at Flowery Branch High School and will be attending Georgia Tech in the fall and will be studying Industrial Design. Her parents are Jimmy and Jodi Lawler and she has one brother, Jones.

What are two of your favorite restaurants in our community?
“Mellow Mushroom 100% and Inman Perk.”

If you could travel anywhere in the world right now, where would it be and why?
“I would travel to Copenhagen Germany. Copenhagen is known for its design and it’s where quantum physicists commonly met in the 1900s.”

What is one of your favorite movies? TV shows?
“I love ‘Everything, Everywhere, All at Once.’ Favorite TV show is ‘Ted Lasso.'”

If you were asked to give advice to your senior class and the younger students at your school, what would you say?
“Learn to network. Make connections with strangers and keep those connections strong. Make sure you know how to balance your mental health, social life, and studies all at once. Never give up on your dreams either.”

If you were able to be cast as yourself into a television show or series, what show would you want to be in?
“‘Daredevil.’ I’m a huge Marvel fan and I’d love to be in that show.”

If you could choose anyone to have lunch with, who would you choose? Why? And where, locally, would you meet for this lunch?
“Steve Jobs, who is dead, but his eagerness to learn and continue pushing in his career is something I hold onto and implement everyday of my life. I’d like to meet him at Inman Perk, that’s where I always go to study and it would be a good environment for us to talk.”

What is your favorite thing about our community?
“I’ve been in Gainesville my whole life and I just love how tight knit the community is. I feel like everyone knows everyone and I just that this is where I’ve grown up.”

Where do you see yourself in 5 to 10 years?
“Hopefully going for a masters degree in business and/or starting my own company.”

What is something on your bucket list?
“I want to travel a lot and soak up all the cultures I’ve learned about.”

What is your go to band / singer when you cant decide what to listen to?
“Imagine Dragons or Dominic Fike.”

Favorite month? favorite holiday? and best single day on the calendar?
“Favorite month is probably October, because it’s my birthday month. My favorite holiday is Christmas, I love when my family gets together and I get a break from school. Best day on the calendar is January 1st. It’s a rebirth for me and that date is where I set up my goals for that year and that’s a big deal for me.”

What would you rate a 10 out of 10?
“Coffee. Oh boy I love coffee.”

Who inspires you to be better?
“Myself. I am my biggest inspiration.”
