Meet Andrew Elliott! Andrew is a recent Gainesville High School graduate and plans to attend the University of Georgia in the fall.
Question: Please tell us a little bit about your family.
Answer: “I live with my mom, Leigh Elliott, and my step-dad, Bryan Pfaff. I have an older step-brother named Nathan. I also have three younger half-siblings named Ava, Owen, and Cora.”
Q: What are your plans after graduation?
A: “I plan to major in biochemistry and molecular biology at UGA. With this, I plan to become an ophthalmologist.”
Q: What are two of your favorite restaurants in our community?
A: “Moe’s and Texas Roadhouse.”
Q: If you could travel anywhere in the world right now, where would it be and why?
A: “I would travel to Italy because of their amazing history and food.”
Q: What is one of your favorite movies? TV shows?
A: “‘Scream.'”
Q: If you were asked to give advice to your senior class and the younger students at your school, what would you say?
A: “I would advise them to persevere through school, focusing on the goals ahead.”
Q: If you were able to be cast as yourself into a television show or series, what show would you want to be in?
A: “‘Friends.'”
Q: If you could choose anyone to have lunch with, who would you choose? Why? And where, locally, would you meet for this lunch?
A: “I would choose to have lunch with my dad because he lives in Vermont. I would choose to go to a local Chinese place because that’s our favorite food.”
Q: What is your favorite thing about our community?
A: “My favorite thing about our community is the small-town feeling.”
Q: Where do you see yourself in five to 10 years?
A: “I see myself in medical school, studying to be an ophthalmologist at the Medical College of Georgia.”
Q: What is something on your bucket list?
A: “Skydiving.”
Q: What is your go to band / singer when you cant decide what to listen to?
A: “Coldplay.”
Q: Favorite month? favorite holiday? and best single day on the calendar?
A: “My favorite month is July. My favorite holiday is 4th of July. My single favorite day on the calendar is my birthday.”

A: “UGA’s campus.”

A: “My mom.”
