Meet Philip Mady! Philip is a senior at Gainesville High School and president of FCA. He plans to attend Clemson University in the fall and study business. His parents are Ashraf and Martha and he has one brother.
Please tell us a little bit about your family.
A: “My father’s name is Ashraf Mady and my mothers name is Martha. I have a little brother named Andrew. My family is definitely the most important thing to me. Anytime I am facing challenges or difficulties, they help me through it.”
Q: What are two of your favorite restaurants in our community?
A: “Mellow Mushroom and a taco spot Antojitos.”
Q: If you could travel anywhere in the world right now, where would it be and why?
A: “I think Hawaii would be cool and chill.”
Q: What is one of your favorite movies? TV shows?
A: “I like the ‘Interview.’ ‘Formula One Drive’ to Survive is a good show.”
Q: If you were asked to give advice to your senior class and the younger students at your school, what would you say?
A: “Relax and have fun. Put in the work and good things will come your way.”
Q: If you were able to be cast as yourself into a television show or series, what show would you want to be in?
A: “I would cast myself in Keeping Up With The Kardashians because I like to be with humble people.”
Q: If you could choose anyone to have lunch with, who would you choose? Why?
A: “Mohamed Salah because he is the best soccer player in the world right now.”
Q: What is your favorite thing about our community?
A: “There are a lot of good things about the community. It’s cool how diverse it is for a small town. I like the strong sense of community that people have as well.”
Q: Where do you see yourself in five to 10 years?
A: “It is hard to say. I hope to be out in Cali and running a company and doing what I am passionate about.”
Q: What is something on your bucket list?
A: “To go to the US Open in New York.”
Q: What is your go to band / singer when you can’t decide what to listen to?
A: “Probably Drake or chill rap. I also like Maverick City Worship a lot.”
Q: Favorite month? Favorite holiday?
A: “Favorite month has to be July. I probably like Christmas the most.”
Q: What would you rate a 10 out of 10?
A: “A good dinner with friends.”
Q: Who inspires you to be better?
A: “There are a lot of people I like to observe and pull inspiration from. Of course my parents, people I work with, friends, I am fortunate to have a really good circle of people.”
