Meet Ryland Tucker! Ryland is a recent graduate of Chestatee High School. His parents are Russell and Amanda Tucker and he has a sister, Madison. He will be attending Lanier Tech in the fall to study nursing.
Question: Please tell us a little bit about your family.
Answer: “My Mom and Dad are Amanda and Russell Tucker. My dad is from Buford and my mom is from Cumming. My parents actually met in Gainesville in 1993. They got married in 1997 and moved to Gainesville. I have a older sister named Madison. I love my family very much.”
Q: What are your plans after graduation?
A: “I got accepted to Lanier Technical college in the nursing program. Once I finish my associate degree at Lanier Technical College, I plan to eventually get my bachelors degree in nursing.”
Q: What are two of your favorite restaurants in our community?
A: “Waffle House and Bluefin.”
Q: If you could travel anywhere in the world right now, where would it be and why?
A: “I would like to go to Hawaii because I never been, and I would love to witness to view.”
Q: What is one of your favorite movies? TV shows?
A: “I like any horror movie!”
Q: If you were asked to give advice to your senior class and the younger students at your school, what would you say?
A: “Don’t be afraid to ask questions or for help, so of the most successful people asked questions and sometimes for help along the way.”
Q: If you were able to be cast as yourself into a television show or series, what show would you want to be in?
A: “‘Stranger Things.'”
Q: If you could choose anyone to have lunch with, who would you choose? Why? And where, locally, would you meet for this lunch?
A: “I would like to lunch with Mr. Trump and I would like to take them to BlueFin since it’s one of my favorite places t0 eat!”
Q: What is your favorite thing about our community?
A: “The Gainesville Square and the events they have.”
Q: Where do you see yourself in 5 to 10 years?
A: “Hopefully financially stable with a good job.”
Q: What is something on your bucket list?
A: “To have my own iguana lizard.”
Q: What is your go to band / singer when you cant decide what to listen to?
A: “Zac Brown Band.”
Q: Favorite month? favorite holiday? and best single day on the calendar?
A: “My favorite holiday is Christmas because we our celebrating Jesus birthday!”
