Meet Jaylan “Takeoff” Rhodes! Jaylan is a senior at Gainesville High School. After graduation Jaylan plas on playing football at Greensboro College. His mother is Kapal Hill and Jaylan has three sisters. We want to congratulate Jaylan and his family on his upcoming graduation and best wishes on his future endeavors!
Question: What are your plans after graduation?
Answer: “I am attending Greensboro College on a football scholarship where I plan to study either business or engineering.”
Q: What are two of your favorite restaurants in our community?
A: “Zaxby’s and IHOP.”
Q: If you could travel anywhere in the world right now, where would it be and why?
A: “Bora Bora because it’s so peaceful.”
Q: What is one of your favorite movies? TV shows?
A: “All Kevin Hart comedy shows.”
Q: If you were asked to give advice to your senior class and the younger students at your school, what would you say?
A: “Keep your head straight and don’t let nobody knock you off your grind.”
Q: If you were able to be cast as yourself into a television show or series, what show would you want to be in?
A: Superhero type show so I can have a power.
Q: What is your favorite thing about our community?
A: “The people and support.”

A: “Starting a family and playing in the league.”

A: “Graduate from college and start a family.”
