Meet Lauren Ware! Lauren is a senior at Gainesville High School and plans to attend the University of Georgia in the fall. Her parents are Scott and Nancy Ware.
Please tell us a little bit about your family.
“I am the daughter of Nancy and Scott Ware. My mom works as a economics teacher at GHS and my father works for Hall County as a Lieutenant.”
What are your plans after graduation?
“After I graduate in the spring of 2021, I plan on attending UGA in the following fall.”
What are two of your favorite restaurants in our community?
“Mellow Mushroom and Longstreet.”
If you could travel anywhere in the world right now, where would it be and why?
“Hawaii, it has such a diverse and unique culture as well as the fact of it being simply beautiful.”
What is one of your favorite movies? TV shows?
“My favorite movie is ‘Beauty and the Beast’ and my favorite show is ‘Grey’s Anatomy.'”
If you were asked to give advice to your senior class and the younger students at your school, what would you say?
“I would tell the younger students to never be afraid to be their own selves.”
If you were able to be cast as yourself into a television show or series, what show would you want to be in?
“‘Vampire Diaries.'”
If you could choose anyone to have lunch with, who would you choose? Why? And where, locally, would you meet for this lunch?
“I would choose to have lunch with Madonna, as she is simply an icon. I would probably want to eat somewhere like Lunas or Recess on the square.”
What is your favorite thing about our community?
“The friendliness of everyone.”
Where do you see yourself in five to 10 years?
“In 10 years, I see myself starting my psychiatry residency.”
What is something on your bucket list?
“Sky Diving.”
What is your go to band / singer when you cant decide what to listen to?
“Neyo.”

“July, Halloween, and Jesus Birthday (Christmas).”

“Summer and being at the beach.”
What is something you want to do as soon as this pandemic is finished?
“Travel.”

“My mother.”
