Meet Allie Luna! Allie is a senior at West Hall High School. She plans to attend Athens Technical College and study to be a Dental Hygienist.
Please tell us a little bit about your family.
“I have a little brother, Kyler Luna, who loves skateboarding and is a sophomore at West Hall. My mom, Lisa Luna, is like my built in best friend. My dad passed away in 2019, and he will forever be my Guardian Angel!”
What are your plans after graduation?
“After graduation, I plan to attend Athens Technical College and be a Dental Hygienist.”
What are two of your favorite restaurants in our community?
“Definitely El Sombrero and Loretta’s!”
If you could travel anywhere in the world right now, where would it be and why?
“I have actually always wanted to go to Bora Bora! I think it’s such a beautiful place and I love the beach and clear ocean water.”
What is one of your favorite movies? TV shows?
“My favorite movie is ‘Avatar’ and my favorite TV show is ‘All American.'”
If you were asked to give advice to your senior class and the younger students at your school, what would you say?
“I would say to not take any moment for granted. Whenever I was a freshman, the seniors would always tell me how fast high school would go by, of course I didn’t believe them, but it’s true. Enjoy every moment, take lots of opportunities, don’t stress too much, and just have fun!”
If you were able to be cast as yourself into a television show or series, what show would you want to be in?
“‘Friends.'”
If you could choose anyone to have lunch with, who would you choose? Why? And where, locally, would you meet for this lunch?
“Angelina Jolie because she has done a lot of charitable work and an amazing actor. I think she’d be such an interesting woman to talk to,”
What is your favorite thing about our community?
“I love how our community is very friendly and we live in such a welcoming community and it’s very family oriented!”
Where do you see yourself in five to 10 years?
“I hope to be graduated from college with a steady career and living a happy and healthy life.”
What is something on your bucket list?
“To go skydiving someday!”
What is your go to band / singer when you cant decide what to listen to?
“My go to genre when I don’t know what to listen to is usually country but my go to artist would have to be George Straight.”
Favorite month? favorite holiday? and best single day on the calendar?
“My favorite day and my favorite holiday happen to be in the same month, December! So Christmas is my favorite holiday and Dec. 22nd, my birthday is my favorite day!”
What would you rate a 10 out of 10?
“Disney World.”
What is something you want to do as soon as this pandemic is finished?
“Go on a cruise!”
Who inspires you to be better?
“My cheer coach, Danielle Scott, is someone who inspires me. She is such an honest and real person and I think that is so inspiring. She has helped me overcome many obstacles and I am very grateful for her!”
