Meet Ava Baudin! Ava is a senior at Gainesville High School and she plans to attend the University of Georgia in the fall. Her parents are Brett and Pat Baudin and she has four siblings.
Question: Please tell us a little bit about your family.
Answer: “My parents names are Pat and Brett Baudin. I have four siblings, Kylie, Lauren, Chandler, and Will.”
Q: What are your plans after graduation?
A: “After graduation I am attending UGA where I plan to study biology.”
Q: What are two of your favorite restaurants in our community?
A: “Longstreet Cafe and Bluefin.”
Q: If you could travel anywhere in the world right now, where would it be and why?
A: “If I could travel anywhere I’d for sure choose to go to Italy. I went a few summers ago with my family and I loved every bit of it. The food, the scenery, the people, it was all so nice!”
Q: What is one of your favorite movies? TV shows?
A: Right now my favorite TV show is ‘Bridgerton.'”
Q: If you were asked to give advice to your senior class and the younger students at your school, what would you say?
A: “To the younger students at my school, take advantage of every opportunity you have to do fun things with your high school friends. I was always told that senior year would fly by and it’s true, take advantage of the time you still have left!”
Q: If you were able to be cast as yourself into a television show or series, what show would you want to be in?
A: “I would want to be in the show ‘Friends.'”
Q: If you could choose anyone to have lunch with, who would you choose? Why? And where, locally, would you meet for this lunch?
A: “If I could choose anyone to have lunch with I’d have to pick Queen Elizabeth. I think that a lunch with her would be very interesting. I think it would be funny to take her to a very casual restaurant like Mellow Mushroom.”
Q: What is your favorite thing about our community?
A: “My favorite thing about our community is the people in it. I’ve met so many nice people in Hall County.”
Q: Where do you see yourself in 5 to 10 years?
A: “In 5 to 10 years I will have graduated from college and I hope to be working as a physicians assistant.”
Q: What is something on your bucket list?
A: “Something on my bucket list is to ride in a hot air balloon.”
Q: What is your go to band / singer when you cant decide what to listen to?
A: “My go to singer is probably Morgan Wallen. Country music always boosts my mood.”
Q: Favorite month? favorite holiday? and best single day on the calendar?
A: “My favorite month is probably June because it’s the start of summer. My favorite holiday is Christmas because all my family comes in form out of town. The best single day on the calendar is January 3rd because that was the day two of my sisters and I were born.”
Q: What would you rate a 10 out of 10?
A: “I would rate the color pink a 10/10. It is my favorite color right now.”
Q: What is something you want to do as soon as this pandemic is finished?
A: “I’d love to travel out of the country again to places such as Greece or Bora Bora.”
Q: Who inspires you to be better?
A: “My parents inspire me to be better. They challenge me to be the best person I can be and they push me to work as hard at everything I do.”
