Meet Santino Sengson! Santino is a recent graduate of Flowery Branch High School and plans to attend the University of North Georgia in the fall. His parents are Brian and Kelly Sengson and he has four siblings.

Question: Please tell us a little bit about your family.
Answer: “My parents names are Brian and Kelly Sengson. My dad was born in Chicago and my mother is from Pennsylvania. I have four siblings who are all older than me. The oldest is my brother Brian and he and his wife Katie have two kids;  Knox and Baer. I have 2 sisters, one who is graduating from UGA and another who attends UNG. I also have another brother named Sal who attend UNG as well.”

Q: What are your plans after graduation?
A: “I plan on attending UNG Dahlonega where I plan on pursing a business major with an interest in law. I will also be a part of the GLC program where I will further my interest in international affairs. I eventually plan on transferring to UGA where I will pursue an international business degree.”

Q: What are two of your favorite restaurants in our community?
A: “Tani Thai is my go to but for breakfast I love Haydee’s Cafe.”

Q: If you could travel anywhere in the world right now, where would it be and why?
A: “If I had to travel anywhere it would probably be Ireland for its Beautiful scenery and culture. My goal is to eventually travel to many continents around the world.”

Q: What is one of your favorite movies? TV shows?
A: “My favorite movies are probably ‘Whiplash’ and few different Marvel movies. My favorite TV shows are probably ‘Breaking Bad,’ ‘BoJack Horseman,’ and ‘Demon Slayer.'”

Q: If you were asked to give advice to your senior class and the younger students at your school, what would you say?
A: “I would tell them to just enjoy it. Don’t over stress about grades, college and especially people’s opinions. Just have fun with people around you because that is what means the most.”

Q: If you were able to be cast as yourself into a television show or series, what show would you want to be in?
A: “I would cast myself in ‘Survivor.'”

Q: If you could choose anyone to have lunch with, who would you choose? Why? And where, locally, would you meet for this lunch?
A: “I would meet Elon Musk because he is a really successful entrepreneur who would probably give great life advice. I would meet him at Pig Tales for the good food and scenery.”

Q: What is your favorite thing about our community?
A: “The friendly atmosphere and lake.”

Q: Where do you see yourself in 5 to 10 years?
A: “In college or graduating.”

Q: What is something on your bucket list?
A: “To travel.”

Q: What is your go to band / singer when you cant decide what to listen to?
A: “I love Kanye West, Tyler the Creator, Mac Miller and Kendrick Lamar.”

Q: Favorite month? favorite holiday? and best single day on the calendar?
A: “My favorite month is July, holiday probably Christmas and day is Dec. 25.”

Q: What would you rate a 10 out of 10?
A: “Being on the lake, ocean or pool even with close family and friends in the summer afternoon.”

Q: Who inspires you to be better?
A: “My father for being very hard working and supporting.”
