Meet Dean Adams! Dean is the dinner manager at 2 Dog in Gainesville but many of you know him from behind the bar, choosing the perfect glass of wine for your meal at 2 Dog!
Dean was born and raised in Gainesville and is a theatre and pet enthusiast.
Recently, we caught up with Dean to find out a little more about her life and love of the area.
Question: What do you love about being a bartender
Answer: “Actually I am the dinner manager at 2 Dog Restaurant. I do all of the beer and wine purchasing for the restaurant and my favorite part is going to all of the trade shows.”
Q: What is your specialty?
A: “Since I do not drink, I have a nice clean palate for the taste of the beer and wine which helps me understand what it is that people prefer to drink and what drinks go best with what dishes.”
Q: Do you have a favorite bartender or bar in Hall County?
A: “I love going to TapIt & Mellow Mushroom & tasting their beers so I can get a better idea of what they taste like & make better decisions toward ordering for our customers.”
Q: What is your favorite memory from being a bartender?
A: “I never get tired of hearing that pop of champagne.”
Q: What do you do when your not working?
A: “Walk dogs, keep up with Rosemary Dodd, spend as much time as I can with Nobi and Ames Roberts, as well as my Doberman Pincher The Bentley.”
Q: What is your favorite part about Hall County?
A: “The people, being born and raised here I know a lot of them and get to meet a lot just being out going and who I am.”
