Meet Samuel Holt! Samuel is a senior at Gainesville High School and plans to attend the University of Georgia in the fall. His parents are Josh and Sharon Holt and he has one sister, Olivia Holt.
Question: What are your plans after graduation?
Answer: “I will be attending the University of Georgia in the fall and studying biology on a pre-med track.”
Q: What are two of your favorite restaurants in our community?
A: “Bluefin and Mellow Mushroom,”
Q: If you could travel anywhere in the world right now, where would it be and why?
A: “I would travel to Italy because I have always wanted to visit Europe and I have Italian roots.”
Q: What is one of your favorite movies? TV shows?
A: “Movie- ‘Batman;’ Show- ‘The Office.'”
Q: If you were asked to give advice to your senior class and the younger students at your school, what would you say?
A: “Don’t take everything so serious, enjoy the time you have in high school.”
Q: If you were able to be cast as yourself into a television show or series, what show would you want to be in?
A: “‘The Office.'”
Q: If you could choose anyone to have lunch with, who would you choose? Why? And where, locally, would you meet for this lunch?
A: “I would have lunch with Dave Chappelle because he is my favorite comedian. We would meet at Mellow Mushroom for pizza.”
Q: What is your favorite thing about our community?
A: “The diversity.”
Q: Where do you see yourself in 5 to 10 years?
A: “In medical school or doing a residency program.”
Q: What is something on your bucket list?
A: “Skydiving.”
Q: What is your go to band / singer when you cant decide what to listen to?
A: “Rod Wave.”
Q: Favorite month? favorite holiday? and best single day on the calendar?
A: “My favorite month is December and my favorite holiday is Christmas. My favorite single day on the calendar is my birthday, August 7th.”
Q: What would you rate a 10 out of 10?
A: “Sunsets on Lake Lanier.”
Q: What is something you want to do as soon as this pandemic is finished?
A: “Vacation in Europe.”
Q: Who inspires you to be better?
A: “My parents.”
