Meet Cindy Grier! Cindy is a math teacher at East Hall High School and was recently named Hall County School District Teacher of the Year.
Cindy grew up in Habersham County but she started her career in education Brenau Academy from 1992-1998. She began work at East Hall in 1998 and has been a member of the math department for 20 years.
Cindy has three other siblings, two of which two are educators at Chestatee High and in White County.  When she isn’t teaching she loves going to estate sales and is an Ebay seller.
“I have sold a lot on Ebay but the highest paid item I have sold was for $1,000 one time,” she said. “I love going to estate sales because I just love the older things people don’t really have that are just unique.”
A couple of businesses that make Cindy the most nostalgic about Hall County with her memories is the Rocking Chair Theatre and Dipper Dan.
We want to thank Cindy for sitting with us and letting us get to know her a little bit better!
