Q: What do you do for a living and what do you like most about it?

I am in video production and motion graphics. I film commercials and marketing videos for organizations throughout Georgia and the southeast. I really enjoy helping people tell their story through video. I also work with a good number of collegiate athletic programs and local high schools with in-stadium and in-arena video board content. The thing I like more than anything in what I do professionally, is meeting new people and understanding what excites them about their business.

Q: What advice would you want to give or leave with people? Or , If you could go back in time to give yourself some wisdom, what would you say?

Relationships matter and checking in on people that you may not have spoken to in a long time is important.

Q: If you could travel anywhere in the world right now, where would it be and why?

Jerusalem. I had the opportunity to visit in 2014 and the experience was incredible. I’d like to go back but have my wife and boys with me this time around. To walk where Jesus walked and stand in the areas where he taught was unforgettable.

Q: What is the most beautiful place in the world you have already visited?

Standing on top of the rocky mountains on an early morning ski run in quite breathtaking.

Q: If you could choose anyone that is alive today and not a relative; with whom would you love to have lunch? Why? And where locally would y’all meet for this lunch?

Comedian Nate Bargatze and we’d hit up “The Collegiate Grill”.

Q: What are a couple of your favorite restaurants in our community?

There are so many fantastic spots in Gainesville, but I really enjoy Longstreet Cafe. If it’s a Friday and I’m wrapping up a video shoot late in the day, I’ll stop by Atlas Pizza and grab a pizza for my family. That’s always a hit!

Q: How long have you lived or worked in our community?

I started my professional career in Gainesville in 2006 and moved to south Hall shortly thereafter. I love this community and have been blown away by the growth we’ve experienced in the last 10-15 years.

Q: Who, in our community, do you think is happy and positive and would be a great next interview for this project? This person will be your nomination!

Scott Sullivan is a friend that has also impacted my life. He loves Jesus, his family and his friends!

Q: What current or former local business makes you the most nostalgic about our community?

Carroll Daniel Construction. I met Brian Daniel when I first moved to the area and I have watched them grow exponentially – seemingly overnight! I’ve enjoyed seeing them grow and witnessing the positive impact they’ve had on our community.

Q: What is one of your favorite movies? TV shows?

My favorite movie would probably be Hoosiers. Who doesn’t love a good underdog story! My favorite TV show would probably be “King of Queens” or “Seinfeld”.

Q: What would you rate a 10 out of 10?

Sunday mornings with my family going to church and eating lunch together afterwards. That’s a 10!

Q: What is your go to band when you can’t decide what to listen to?

I’m an old soul. I love 60s music. Motown. That was a great era of music!

Q: If you were given ONE EXTRA HOUR every day, and you could not use it for sleep, work, or with anyone else, what would you use it for?

I would study my Bible more.

Q: What is something on your bucket list?

I’d love to play a round of golf at Augusta National with 3 of my golfing buddies.

Q: And, what is something you have been proud to check off your bucket list??

I was able to travel with my oldest son a couple of years ago to England and watch a few Premier League soccer matches. That was a fun experience to share with him.

Q: Who inspires you to be better?

My wife, Jamie.

Q: If a movie or series was made about your life, who would you choose to play your role??

Brad Pitt for obvious reasons. I hope the sarcasm comes through!

Q: Favorite month? Favorite holiday? And the absolute best single day on the calendar?

I love the month of July and celebrating our Independence. That day for me consists of running the Peachtree Road Race with my family, grilling burgers with neighbors and watching fireworks while my kids run around with their friends. It doesn’t get much better than that!
