Meet Jerzee Allentini! Jerzee is a senior at Flowery Branch High School and plans to attend and play football at Washington and Lee University.
Please tell us a little bit about your family.
“I have an energetic 8 year old sister, Aleila, who loves gymnastics and swimming. I also have an older brother and sister, Ty and Tori, who both have recently graduated college. My parents and stepmom (Alyce, Chris, and Tamia) all grew up in Alabama before moving to Georgia after college.”
What are your plans after graduation?
“I will be attending Washington and Lee University to major in biology with a minor in business. While at W&L, I will also be playing football for their collegiate team.”
What are two of your favorite restaurants in our community?
“La Casa del Taco and Longstreet Cafe.”
If you could travel anywhere in the world right now, where would it be and why?
“I have never traveled out of the continent, so I would love to go to a place like Australia. I’d love to see their exotic wildlife and Australian football games.”
What is one of your favorite movies? TV shows?
“‘Last Chance U’ (Season 1).”
If you were asked to give advice to your senior class and the younger students at your school, what would you say?
“Don’t overwhelm yourself trying to plan for the future, living in the moment is just as important. You’ll be walking across the graduation stage to get your diploma before you know it.”
If you were able to be cast as yourself into a television show or series, what show would you want to be in?
“‘All American.'”
If you could choose anyone to have lunch with, who would you choose? Why? And where, locally, would you meet for this lunch?
“I would love to have lunch with the person who inspired me to study sports medicine, physical therapist Jeff Cavaliere. I’d take him to Napoli’s and have a sit down to try to pick his brain on the different pathways of athletic training.”
What is your favorite thing about our community?
“The tight-knit family atmosphere.”
Where do you see yourself in five to 10 years?
“After college graduation, I want to come back to Hall County to mentor with the Atlanta Falcons and study for my masters in kinesiology.”
What is something on your bucket list?
“Witness the Falcons win a Super Bowl.”
What is your go to band / singer when you cant decide what to listen to?
“Ariana Grande.”
Favorite month? favorite holiday? and best single day on the calendar?
“My favorite month is June. My favorite holiday is Halloween, and April 1st is the best day on the calendar.”
What would you rate a 10 out of 10?
“‘University Blue’ Air Jordan 1 Highs.”
What is something you want to do as soon as this pandemic is finished?
“Spend time with my grandparents in Alabama.”
Who inspires you to be better?
“Both my teammates and family.”
