Sweet Acre Farms is a 46-acre farm in Northeast Georgia, the only winery in Hall County, and specializes in country wines like apple, blueberry, peach, lemonade-style wine and more!
Matt and Lindsey Vrahiotes, owners of Sweet Acre Farms, realized early in their marriage that they had a passion for farming, food and beekeeping which is where the dream of Sweet Acre Farms began.
Recently, Sweet Acre Farms won several medals at the Georgia Grown Trustees Wine Challenge, the first of its kind in Georgia.
“It was the first official wine competition in the state of Georgia,” Matt said. “We won four bronze, two silver and best of class for our Quittin’ Time Lemon-Blueberry wine; and then t was served at a Savannah Food and Wine Festival dinner this past November.”
Currently, Sweet Acre Farms wines are available at Green’s Grocery in Gainesville along with several other Northeast Georgia locations.
