Meet Julia Perry! Julia is a senior at Gainesville High School and will be attending Mercer University in the fall. Her parents are Dale and Kim Perry. We want to congratulate Julia and her family on her upcoming graduation and best wishes in the future.

Question: Please tell us a little bit about your family.
Answer: “I am the daughter of Dale and Kim Perry.”

Q: What are your plans after graduation?
A: “I will be attending Mercer University, majoring in neuroscience on the Pre- Physical Therapy track.”

Q: What are two of your favorite restaurants in our community?
A: “Longstreet Cafe and Collegiate Grill!”

Q: If you could travel anywhere in the world right now, where would it be and why?
A: “I would absolutely LOVE to go to Pig Beach in the Bahamas because I think pigs are adorable and I love the beach. It’s the perfect combination!!”

Q: What is one of your favorite movies? TV shows?
A: “By far my favorite TV show is ‘Criminal Minds’ but I also love watching ‘Untold Stories of the ER.'”

Q: If you were asked to give advice to your senior class and the younger students at your school, what would you say?
A: “I would say to always be the nicest person you can be. You never know who is having a rough day and a simple smile could change their day!”

Q: If you were able to be cast as yourself into a television show or series, what show would you want to be in?
A: “Definitely ‘Untold Stories of the ER.'”

Q: If you could choose anyone to have lunch with, who would you choose? Why? And where, locally, would you meet for this lunch?
A: “I would take Dolly Parton to Longstreet Cafe! I love how she loves the Lord and isn’t afraid to show it! It is my dream to meet her and hopefully sing 9 to 5 or Jolene with her!!!

Q: What is your favorite thing about our community?
A: “My favorite thing about our community is that it is the perfect size! You always know somebody but you can always meet someone new.”

Q: Where do you see yourself in 5 to 10 years?
A: “I know life doesn’t go as planned, but I hope to have my doctorate in Physical Therapy, specializing in patients with traumatic brain injuries.”

Q: What is something on your bucket list?
A: “To go to all of the National Parks.”

Q: What is your go to band / singer when you cant decide what to listen to?
A: “Luke Combs.”

Q: Favorite month? favorite holiday? and best single day on the calendar?
A: “My favorite month is July, my favorite holiday is Christmas, and the best single day on the calendar would be when I was baptized on Jan. 11, 2009.”

Q: What would you rate a 10 out of 10?
A: “A Chick-fil-A number 1 meal with a large Dr. Pepper for breakfast.”

Q: What is something you want to do as soon as this pandemic is finished?
A: “Go to church!!! I miss my Lakewood Fusion friends.”

Q: Who inspires you to be better?
A: “Jesus because He literally died for us. How cool is that?!!!! We should do everything in our power to glorify Him
and give Him our best!”
