Question: Please tell us a little bit about your family.
Answer: “My parents are Nydia and JP Gonzalez and are two of my biggest supporters in my life. They are always there for me when I need a hug or an pep talk. I have two brothers Mikey and David Gonzalez. My two
brothers are the craziest people you will ever meet. There is never a dull moment in our house. We
moved to Gainesville when I was 2 years old now I am 17 about to turn 18. We are very much involved
in the Gainesville Community because both my brothers played GHS sports. Mikey played baseball and
football. He took over as the head quarterback after Deshaun left and did an unstoppable job. David
played everything but was really good at baseball. He decided to continue his career at University of
Georgia after getting drafted. They are both graduates of Gainesville High School. A few years later we
had to move to Florida to take care of my uncle who was not in the best of health at that time. We lived
in Boca Raton for a year and a half. Florida never felt like home to me so after that short time we moved
back to Gainesville. During the move back I told myself I need to feel apart of a something. So my senior
year of high school I joined the amazing theatre program at GHS directed by Pam Ware. I made so many
friendships and found what I love to do. Now we are living our best lives in our home in Gainesville!”
