
If you haven’t been to Bluefin, or it’s a been awhile, you need to stop back in for their amazing sushi, lettuce wraps, soups, hibachi and so much more! The restaurant recently won Best of Hall County awards from The Gainesville Times, in three categories, congrats!
We would like to thank Raymond and Peggy for taking the time to sit down with us and tell us about their restaurant and love for Hall County.
Q: What inspired you or led you to your current career?
A: âWhen I graduated from college I needed to find a job and my sister actually mentioned a restaurant that was hiring and since then I have been interested.â said Raymond.
Q: What is your favorite restaurant in Hall County, and what do you love there?
A: Raymond said, âOther than my own restaurant, I would have to say Atlanta Highway Seafood is my favorite.â
Q: How long have you lived or worked in Hall County?
A: âWe are originally from Malaysia but we have lived in Hall County for almost five years,â Peggy said.
Q: Who is the most interesting person youâve met here in Hall County?
A: Peggy said, âEveryone is interesting and unique in their own way, everyoneâs life is fascinating.â
Q: If you could travel anywhere in the world right now, where would it be? And why?
A: Peggy said, âI would love to go to India to see how they live their life and remind myself of how lucky I am to live here.â Raymond said, âI would love to take my mother to China and try all the foods there.â
Q: What is your favorite movie?
A: Raymond said, âI used to really like Jackie Chan movies but now I really enjoy watching detective and crime movies.â Peggy said, âMy favorite movie is Kung Fu Panda because it’s very funny and positive.â
Q: What advice would you give a crowd of people?
A: Raymond said, âYou should always work hard and never be lazy, this way you can be successful.â and Peggy said, âYou should always spend more time with family rather than staying on your phone.â
Q: What is your favorite type of music? What are 3 bands youâd like to see, dead or alive?
A: Raymond said âMy favorite type of music is rock music.â and Peggy said, âI really enjoy listening to Celine Dion and Jazz, mainly just instrumental music.â
Q: What is something on your bucket list?
A: Both Raymond and Peggy said: âI would definitely want to spend more time with my family.â
Q: What is your favorite thing about Hall County?
A: Raymond said, âMy favorite thing is how friendly the people are here.â
Q: Where do you see yourself in five or 10 years?
A: âTo have my restaurant become more known.â said Raymond.
Q: (Even for friends or family), what is something interesting that most people donât know about you?
A: Raymond said, âI really like to play tennis with my cousin and most people donât know that.â Peggy said, âNot a lot of people know that I love to draw.â
Q: What are three words or phrases that come to mind when you think of the word HOME?
A: Raymond said âLove, warm, and mom since I only see my mom a few times a year.â and Peggy said, âLove, healthy, and happy.â
Q: If you were cast to be in a major motion picture, who would you want to be your co-star?
A: Raymond said âI would love to have Bruce Willis as my co-star.â and Peggy said, âI would want to have Raymond as my co-star.â
Q: If you could have any full-time staff member in your house, what would you want them to be?
A: Raymond said âI would like to have a housekeeper to clean up after sonsâ and Peggy said âI would want a driver because Iâm not the best driver.â
