Meet Garner Barrett! Garner is a lifelong Gainesville resident, the son of Greg and Cindy Barrett and has twin siblings: Will and Anslee.
“Anslee is my sister and she is very kind and has helped me with a lot of things in life, she does ballet. Will is my brother and he loves to play video games…and plays baseball. He loves to tease me,” he said.
Garner has several hobbies including playing baseball, theatre and taking care of his pet snake.
“We are very busy during the school year and I love spending time with my family, my pets, I love going over to my grandparents house and I collect Beanie Babies. I like to spend time with my snake and I handle him a lot,” he said. “It took me at least three years to convince my mom to let me get a snake…a few years later I met a lady named Kathy Melette and she worked with my mom and she loves snakes and had two snakes and she helped convince my mom to get a snake.
“Dec. 23, 2018…I got my snake, he’s a ball python, named Rocky.”
We want to thank Garner for spending time with us recently to tell us more about his life and love of Hall County.
