Meet Reece Chambers! Reece is a senior at Cherokee Bluff High School and plays shortstop, third base, and pitcher on the Bear’s baseball team. His parents are Eric and Karin Chambers and has two siblings; Rachel and Reagan.
We want to thank Reece for spending time with us recently and telling us more about his life and love of Hall County.
Question: What is one lesson you have learned from your sport?
Answer: “To cherish every moment you have with your friends and teammates. Nothing lasts forever.”
Q: What is your favorite restaurant in Hall County?
A: “Reed’s, they have the best biscuits in town.”
Q: Is there someone who has acted like a mentor for you throughout your career?
A: “My dad. He’s always talked to me before and after games the right way, and taught me how to handle it, go about my business, remain humble, and play the game right.”
Q: What advice do you have for younger athletes in your sport?
A: “To just have fun, don’t take anything for granted. It’s going to fly by. Some people aren’t able to play because of health or injuries.”
Q: What is your favorite thing about Cherokee Bluff?
A: “The culture. The school is like one big family and they push the family aspect.”
Q: Why do you love Hall County?
A: “The people. If everyone is together, and something happens, everyone comes together as one, is nice, and was raised right around here.”
