Meet Hunter Waldrop! Hunter is a senior at Cherokee Bluff High School. His parents are John and Tracy and brother Parker is 14. Hunter will be attending West Virginia University in the fall.
Please tell us a little bit about your family.
“I have two loving parents (John and Tracey). I have a little brother, Parker who it 14. I have 2 dogs, Dixie and Duece.”
What are your plans after graduation?
“I will be attending West Virginia University, and will be majoring in Management.”
What are two of your favorite restaurants in our community?
“Big Burrito and Longhorn.”
If you could travel anywhere in the world right now, where would it be and why?
“Dubai, it is such a cool place based off of images and other information.”
What is one of your favorite movies? TV shows?
“‘Greater.'”
If you were asked to give advice to your senior class and the younger students at your school, what would you say?
“High school goes by way to fast. In the blink of an eye you go from your first day of freshman year to walking across the stage on graduation. Enjoy every second you can, because you can’t get it back.”
If you were able to be cast as yourself into a television show or series, what show would you want to be in?
“‘The Ranch.'”
If you could choose anyone to have lunch with, who would you choose? Why? And where, locally, would you meet for this lunch?
“Dave Portnoy, I would take him to Felinis Pizza in Buckhead. I would chose Dave because I love his vision on business and he’s a really funny guy.”
What is your favorite thing about our community?
:The support from everyone.”
Where do you see yourself in five to 10 years?
“Out of college and working a full time job.”
What is something on your bucket list?
“Go to all 50 states.”
What is your go to band / singer when you cant decide what to listen to?
“Morgan Wallen.”

“Home run nutrition.”

“Go to college football games.”
