Meet Anna Dover! Anna is married to Chris, a mother to one son and runs So Far Studios; a vintage furniture resale business.

We want to thank Anna for spending time with us recently and telling us more about her life and love of Hall County.

Q: Tell me a little bit about you, your background and where you grew up?

A: “I grew up in Atlanta, northeast Atlanta area, Dunwoody. I went to high school in Atlanta and around the time I graduated high school, my parents actually moved to South Carolina. I spent about 10 years in South Carolina and I ended up going to Clemson and met my husband there. When we got married, we were in South Carolina for a little bit, and then I got a job in Illinois. So we went to Illinois for three-ish years and then about four years ago now, probably maybe five we moved back to Georgia, and then we had my son. I studied food science at Clemson University, not related at all to what I am doing now. That’s what I was doing in Illinois  and when we moved back…I was doing product development at Fieldale.”

Q:  What are some of your favorite restaurants in Gainesville?

A: “We really like going to 2 Dog. I love their black beans and rice. We also like Standard Service. We’ve gone there a couple of times and Chattahoochee Grill, it’s like really close to my house. We go there because it’s like easy and they have good food.”

Q:  What do you like about living in Hall County?

A: “I like the people. I think there’s a really good community here. it seems like want to participate in their community and be involved and they want to grow the area to a certain degree. There’s so much growth happening and most people seem to be pretty happy about that. I would say I like that mentality.”

Q: What’s one of the firsts movie you remember seeing in the theater?
