Meet Clare Gaddy! Clare is a sophomore at Gainesville High School. She has lived in Gainesville her entire life with her parents, Shane and Emily, and her brother. Clare is the owner of Tiny Clare Bakes Bakery and you can find her on Instagram @tinyclarebakes.
Question: What inspired you or led you to your current career?
Answer: “In 4th grade, my teacher had a class store and a few of my friends and I made over 200 desserts to sell to younger grades. It was truly the first time I discovered my love for baking, and I’ve been doing it ever since.”

A: “I love Taqueria Tsunami, and I love their tater tots and cheese dip.”
Q: How long have you lived or worked in Hall County?
A: “I’ve lived here my whole life.”
Q: What is your favorite childhood memory?
A: “My favorite memory would probably be going to my grandma’s house and making sugar cookies during the holidays.”
Q: If you could travel anywhere in the world right now, where would it be and why?
A: “I want to go to Hawaii and surf.”
Q: What is the first movie you remember seeing in a theater?
A: “I don’t remember the first movie I saw, but the one that I remember the most is ‘Wonder.’ The theater was so packed that my friend and I had to sit on the floor.”
Q: What advice would you give a crowd of people?
A: “Work hard and make good decisions in your earlier life because it affects you in the long run.”
Q: What is something on your bucket list?
A: “I really want to own my own bakery.”
Q: What is your favorite music/ three bands you would like to see (dead or alive)?
A: “Luke Combs, Taylor Swift, and Morgan Wallen.”
Q: What local business makes you the most nostalgic about Hall County and why?
A: “My dad and I, when I was younger, used to go to Sweet Monkey every once and a while for some daddy-daughter time together.”
Q: Choosing anyone (past or present and a non-relative), with whom would you love to have lunch?
A: “I would eat Caramel Praline Cheesecake at Avocados with ‘Buddy’ Valastro Jr., who is also known as the Cake Boss.”
Q: Where do you see yourself in 5 or 10 years?
A: “I see myself cheering at UGA, graduating college, eventually owning my own bakery, and having a family.”
Q: What three words mean “Home” to you?
A: “Family. Cheer. God.”
Q: If you had a full-time staff member that was fully paid for, who would you choose?
A: “It doesn’t matter who they are, but they would have to clean up after me.”
