Pink Barre Lake Lanier on Bradford St. is owned by Amy Hoffman, who brought the concept to Gainesville from the Pink Barre Studio in Atlanta.
Barre classes are popping up all over the country and have become a go-to workout for many women. The fun and intense classes are barre-based total body workouts that combine elements from “pilates, isometric strengthening, ballet, and yoga while using the ballet barre for support,” according to the Pink Barre Lake Lanier Facebook page.
The workouts are low-impact and focus on working muscles to fatigue; and have been featured in The Times along with being chosen the Best Barre Studio in Atlanta by Atlanta Magazine in 2014. Classes are typically 55 minutes and feature encouragement, motivational playlists and overall group support for your exercise goals.
Women around Gainesville have flocked to the Pink Barre classes and are seeing great results from the fitness routine and also enjoying the sense of community and wellness the classes promote.
Along with classes like Pink Barre Classic, Stretch, Next and Cardio; the studio offers some of the most popular women’s workout gear on the market today.
Amy’s goal for the fitness boutique is to provide a fitness and lifestyle concept to the Gainesville community along with using eco-friendly, sustainable products in the studios.
