Hartley Carter is a soccer player at Brenau University and grew up in Hall County. She made a splash in the local soccer scene as a forward on the Gainesville High School Girls Soccer team.
We recently caught up with Carter and asked her a few questions about her likes, interests and favorite activities in Gainesville to share with you:
Q: What is your favorite place to eat in Hall County?
A: 2 Dog Cafe
Q: What is your favorite thing to do in Gainesville?
A: Go out in downtown Gainesville.
Q: What is your favorite movie:
A: “She’s the Man.”
Q: If you could go to Lollapalooza, who are the top 5 people you would want to see?
A: Taylor Swift, Sam Smith, Miley Cyrus, Lana Del Rey and Dave Matthews Band.
Q: Who’s the most interesting person you’ve met while living here?
A: The owners of Atlas Pizza on the Downtown Gainesville square.
Q: If you could give a crowd of people a piece of advice right now, what would you say?
A: “Stay true to yourself.”
Q: When have you felt the most satisfied in your life?
A: “When I was awarded the title of All Region Player/ Most Valuable in high school,” she said.
Q: If you could go on a trip anywhere in the world right now, where would you go?
A: Hawaii
Q: If you could be any type of chair, what would you be?
A: “For sure a rolly chair because it’s fun.”
