Slywester Ratowt is a taste of Poland to the deep South and is a historian in Gainesville. Sylwester has only been in Hall County for three years but has been in the U.S for 20 plus years. Between Slywester and his wife they have seven degrees from the University of Ohio.
We recently caught up with Ratowt and asked him a few questions about his likes, interests and favorite activities in Gainesville to share with you:
Question: What is your favorite place to eat in Hall County?
Answer: “Antebellum in Flowery Branch.”
Q: What is your favorite activity in Hall County?
A: “Hiking and spending time outdoors.”
Q: What is your favorite movie?
A: “Dr. Strangelove.”
Q: What is your advice for a crowd of people?
A: “Make yourself a better person.”
Q: If you could go on a trip anywhere in the world right now, where would it be?
A: “Philadelphia.”
