Chris Romberg is one of the most laid back people you will ever meet; aka the self proclaimed “International Man of Leisure.” He enjoys listening to bands like the The Decemberist. Chris was born and raised in Gainesville.Chris Romberg
Romberg also is the man you need to ask about any outing on Lake Lanier. Growing up on Lanier, he knows all the secret spots, such as “Ernie’s Pipe.” He knows just about everything one needs to know about paddling, canoeing, kayaking, rafting, flatwater, whitewater, etc. He has a passion for paddling and for building boats. His latest creation, that is currently in the works, is a hand-built paddle board.
