We thank Clayton Santiago for allowing us to pull him away for a few minutes to answer some questions about himself and the Hall County community. Clayton has lived in the area for 10 years and is married to Ashley Santiago and has two beautiful daughters.
Question: What is your profession?Clayton Santiago
Answer: I am an Artist and in Sales. As an Artist, the substance of my work is rooted in the belief and recognition of the spiritual world we live within.  I have an uncompromising affinity for all of God’s creations, particularly the southern landscape for all its mysteries and charms.”
Q: Who is the most interesting person you know here in Hall County?
A: “The most interesting person I have met here in Hall County is Dr. Bill Coates, the pastor of First Baptist Church of Gainesville.  He married me and my wife, Ashley.”
Q: If you could travel anywhere in the world right now, where would you go?
A: New Zealand
Q: If you had a couple hours to kill in Hall County, what would you do?
A: “I would visit the Quinlan Arts Center.”
Q: At what point in your life have you been the most satisfied?
A: “At the birth of our daughters.”
Q: What is your favorite movie? Or first movie you ever remember seeing?
A: “Favorite – ‘A River Runs Through It.’ The first movie I can remember seeing is ‘The Fox and the Hound.'”
Q: If you could give a crowd of people a piece of advice right now, what would you say?
A: “Take seriously the value of logic and common sense.”
Q: Where will you be this Friday night?
A: “I will probably be in the studio painting.”
Q: If you could go to lunch with anyone in the world (alive and non-family member), who would it be?
A: I would invite Jack Nicholson to lunch because he intrigues me.  I would take him to Mellow Mushroom for lunch or Lunas for dinner.  If another seat opened up I would ask Jimmy Fallon to join us.
Q: What is my spirit animal?
A: “A test I took revealed that I am equally an owl, bear, and a raven.”
