Meet Joe Furlow. Joe is the co-owner of Wizard’s Video Games in Gainesville and is a trivia buff who claims he can beat anyone in a Star Wars trivia contest.
Joe says he loves his job and the day he felt the most satisfied was, “The first day we opened our business.”
We recently caught up with Joe to ask him a few questions about his life, interests and love for Hall County.
Question: How long have you lived in Hall County?
Answer: “I have been here for 22 years. I am originally from Dunwoody.”
Q: If you could travel to anywhere in the world right now, where would you go?
A: “Disney World”
Q: What is your favorite social outing locally?
A: “I love going to the movies.”
Q: What is your favorite movie?
A: “’Braveheart,’”
Q: What are your favorite local restaurants?
A: “2 Dog in Hall County and Fellini’s Pizzeria in Atlanta.”
Q: Who is the most interesting person you have met while her in Hall County?
A: “I think the most interesting person I have met in Hall County is my Realtor, Regina Cochran.”
Q: Who are the top three musicians/bands you would love to see?
A: “Led Zeppelin, Elvis, and Guns N’ Roses”
Q: If you could have lunch with anyone in the world (alive and non-relative), who would you choose?
A: “Kevin Smith (actor) or Ric Flair (wrestler).”
Q: If you could give a piece of advice to a crowd of people what would you say?
A: “Don’t ever give up on your dreams…big or small, you can do it.”
Q: When have you been the most satisfied in your life?
A: “The first day we opened our business.”
Q: What is your favorite thing about the Hall County community?
A: “We have small town appeal while still growing bigger.”
