Faces of Hall County: Mikinzie VersteegMikinzie Versteeg is a senior at Lakeview Academy and plans on attending the University of Alabama and majoring in Special Education in the fall with her sister Samantha. Versteeg is a Hall County native and is representing the South Hall Rotary Club in 2015 Gainesville-Hall County Junior League Charity Ball.
When asked about her participation in the ball she said, “I have always thought it was such an honor to be chosen to do Charity Ball. Watching the older girls do it and see how much work they put into raise money to be put back into their own community was awesome.
“When I got asked to be charity ball candidate I didn’t have to think twice about it. I am so honored that I was chosen along five other girls to be a Belle Candidate.”
Along with Charity Ball, other charities Mikinzie has worked with are the Special Olympics and the Georgia Mountain Food Bank.
We asked Kinzie a view questions about herself and the way she feels about living in the Hall County community.
