Rosemary has been extremely active in our community for decades. People of all ages say that Rosemary is one of the most interesting people they have ever met.
Rosemary was born in 1935, one year before the great tornado hit in Gainesville in 1936. All of Rosemary’s roots are in Gainesville. She was married to the cartoonist of the Mark Trail comic strip, Ed Dodd, and is an artist herself with several works around town. Before, Rosemary took on being an artist as a full time career after she was the Director of Advancement and Information Services at Gainesville State College for many years.
Rosemary is a huge supporter of the arts and she loves her community. We thank Rosemary for answering a few of our questions for our project.
