Amelia Erwin is representing the South Hall Rotary Club in this year’s 2016 Charity Ball. Amelia is a senior at North Hall High School where she is the football cheerleading captain. She is also an IB certificate candidate. Amelia is in many clubs and enjoys volunteering at the Northeast Georgia Medical Center. Amelia has been an active participant in Young Life for the past three years, and is a member at Gainesville First United Methodist Church.  Amelia loves finding activities outdoors whether it’s hiking or tubing on the lake. Amelia plans to attend the University of Georgia next fall. She is overjoyed to be participating in this year’s Charity Ball and feels truly honored to have been selected as the South Hall Rotary Club belle candidate.  We’d like to commend Amelia on her dedication to fundraising for the Feeding Our Future charity over these past few months.

Question: Why did you want to participate in this year’s charity ball?
Answer: “I had seen so many of my good friends do it, and I thought it would be an amazing chance to give back to the community.”

Q: What is the significance of the Feeding Our Future charity here in Hall County?
A: “It’s important because we don’t usually consider just how many kids in Hall County go without on a daily basis. This problem significantly impacts a good bit of people.”

A: “In the summer, I love going on the lake with friends, but in the fall/winter, I love to go hiking with friends.”

A: “Yellowfin.  I love their seared Ahi tuna.”

Q: If you could travel anywhere in the world, where would it be? Why?

Q: What is the first movie you remember seeing in a theater?
A: “Talladega Nights.”

Q: What advice would you give to a crowd of people?
