If you ever find yourself in the Flowery Branch area, Liberty Candy Company should be a place you pay a visit. Merita Floyd is a manager of the local candy store. She is a senior at West Hall High School and took the job to fill her work-based learning period, but ended up enjoying it so much that she was promoted and works regularly now.
Merita loves to workout, is very active in her youth group, and dreams of attending college in North Carolina. “Whether you want some bubble gum, some of our homemade fudge, or one of our specialty chocolate bars–Liberty Candy is sure to hit the *sweet* spot, pun intended,” says Merita.
We’d like to thank Merita for sitting down to talk to us about herself and her life in Flowery Branch!
