Meet Noe Covarrubias! Noe will be a senior this year at Gainesville High School and plays center for the Red Elephants. Noe was born and raised in Gainesville and his parents are Noe and Jacklyn and he has one sister. His family owns Carniceria Tapatia grocery store in Gainesville, where Noe usually works on the weekends. He pans to study business administration in college.

Question: What do you love about playing center?
Answer: “I get to touch the ball every play.”
Q: What are you excited about most for the upcoming football season?
A: “Finishing the season and winning state. Playing in that game last year just made it somewhere we all wanted to be again and.”
Q: What do you like about living in Gainesville?
A: “Everybody knows each other, so when you go somewhere you know somebody.”
Q: What is your favorite restaurant in Hall County?
A: “Atlas Pizza.”
Q: If someone has never gone into your family’s grocery store, what should they order?
A: “Steaks tacos with beans.”
Q: What was the first movie you saw in the theater?
A: “Maybe a ‘Fast and Furious’ movie.”
Q: Who are some of your favorite musicians or bands?
A: “I like Mexican music, some country music like Chris Stapleton and some rappers like Lil Baby.”
