Bess is a loyal churchgoer and says that her pastor the Rev. Bill Coates is the most interesting person that she has met while living in Gainesville.
Outside of church activities, Bess likes to have dinner at Luna’s and attend theatre shows along with local symphony performances.
Bess added that she has a mantra she has lived her life by that she would share with anyone, “To thy own self be true. Be who you are, no falseness, no pretense. Have acceptance of what comes to you in life.”
