Meet Lindsey Bornhorst! Lindsey is a recent graduate of Chestatee High School and she plans to attend the University of Georgia in the fall. Her parent are Mike and Kelli Bornhorst and she has three brothers. We want to congratulate Lindsey and her family on her graduation and best wishes in the future.

Question: Please tell us a little bit about your family.
Answer: “I have three brothers. Alec is 20 and plays football at Miami of Ohio. Luke is 16 and goes to Chestatee with me. Jack is 14 goes to Lakeview. My parents are Mike and Kelli Bornhorst.”

Q: What are your plans after graduation?
A: “I plan to attend UGA and major in sports broadcasting. I also plan on studying abroad and possibly minoring in Spanish.”

Q: What are two of your favorite restaurants in our community?
A: “Pueblos and Atlas.”

Q: If you could travel anywhere in the world right now, where would it be and why?
A: “I would travel to either Spain or Greece. They are both my dream destinations because they are both beautiful and rich with culture.”

Q: What is one of your favorite movies? TV shows?
A: “My favorite movie is ‘The Blind Side.’ My favorite shows are ‘Friends,’ ‘The Office,’ and ‘Outer Banks.’”

Q: If you were asked to give advice to your senior class and the younger students at your school, what would you say?
A: “I would tell them to never take any moment for granted. High school is a time for many firsts, but it is also a time for many lasts. Last football game, last time seeing a classmate, etc. Value the last of things before they’re gone.”

Q: If you were able to be cast as yourself into a television show or series, what show would you want to be in?
A: “’Outer Banks.’”

Q: If you could choose anyone to have lunch with, who would you choose? Why? And where, locally, would you meet for this lunch?
A: “I would have lunch with Erin Andrews at Atlas Pizza because she is who I aspire to be in my future career.”

Q: What is your favorite thing about our community?
A: “Lake Lanier.”

Q: Where do you see yourself in five to 10 years?
A: “I see myself, first travelling after college for a few months, and then settling down working on my career.”

Q: What is something on your bucket list?
A: “Stairway to Heaven Hike on Oahu.”

Q: What is your go to band / singer when you cant decide what to listen to?
A: “Kenny Chesney.”

Q: Favorite month? favorite holiday? and best single day on the calendar?
A: “June, Christmas, and the first day of Christmas break.”

Q: What would you rate a 10 out of 10?
A: “The love of Jesus Christ.”

Q: What is something you want to do as soon as the pandemic is over?
A: “Hangout with all of my friends.”

Q: Who inspires you to be better?
A: “My papa.”
