Meet Price Embry! Price is a senior at Gainesville High School and the son of Cooper and Elizabeth Embry. He has two sisters and plans to attend the University of Georgia after graduation and study engineering. We want to congratulate Price on his upcoming graduation and best wishes in his future endeavors.
Question: Please tell us a little bit about your family.
Answer: “I am the son of Cooper and Elizabeth Embry. I have two sisters; Charters who is a junior at UGA and Margaret who is a sophomore and GHS.”
Q: What are your plans after graduation?
A: “Attend the University of Georgia and will major in computer systems engineering.”
Q: What are two of your favorite restaurants in our community?
A: “Atlas Pizza and Chick-fil-A.”
Q: If you could travel anywhere in the world right now, where would it be and why?
A: “Australia, because I have always wanted to visit because of the scenery and all of the crazy wildlife they have. I think it would be a very cool place to be.”
Q: What is one of your favorite movies? TV shows?
A: “Movie: ‘Step Brothers’ and TV Show: ‘The Office.'”
Q: If you were asked to give advice to your senior class and the younger students at your school, what would you say?
A: “Don’t try to rush through high school because it already goes by fast enough and can end up being done quicker than expected.”
Q: If you were able to be cast as yourself into a television show or series, what show would you want to be in?
A: ”The Office’ or ‘That 70’s Show.'”
Q: If you could choose anyone to have lunch with, who would you choose? Why? And where, locally, would you meet for this lunch?
A: “I would have lunch with Luke Combs just because I think he’d be really fun to hangout with and hopefully I could convince him to go on the lake after we eat pizza at Atlas.”
Q: What is your favorite thing about our community?
A: “It is very large but at the same time feels close together because most people know each other.”
Q: Where do you see yourself in 5 to 10 years?
A: “Working for a company on cyber security as a computer security engineer.”
Q: What is something on your bucket list?
A: “Travel to Europe and visit lots of countries in the same time span.”
Q: What is your go to band / singer when you cant decide what to listen to?
A: “Tyler Childers.”
Q: Favorite month? favorite holiday? and best single day on the calendar?
A: “July; 4th of July; July 4th.”
Q: What would you rate a 10 out of 10?
A: “Hanging out with friends on the beach all day.”
Q: What is something you want to do as soon as this pandemic is finished?
A: “Go to the beach.”
Q: Who inspires you to be better?
A: “My parents.”
