Meet Sydni Johnson! Sydni is a senior at Gainesville High School and after graduation she plans to join the Army. We want to congratulate Sydni and her family on her upcoming graduation and best wishes in the future.
Question: Please tell us a little bit about your family.
Anser: “I live with my step mom. I have one younger brother and two younger sisters.”
Q: What are your plans after graduation?
A: “Join the Army.”
Q: What are two of your favorite restaurants in our community?
A: “Chick-fil-A and Zaxby’s.”
Q: If you could travel anywhere in the world right now, where would it be and why?
A: “L.A. because I want to see all my favorite actors and actress.”
Q: What is one of your favorite movies? TV shows?
A: “‘On My Block’ and ‘Legacies.'”
Q: If you were asked to give advice to your senior class and the younger students at your school, what would you say?
A: “Stay focused and work hard.”
Q: If you were able to be cast as yourself into a television show or series, what show would you want to be in?
A: “‘On My Block.'”
Q: If you could choose anyone to have lunch with, who would you choose? Why? And where, locally, would you meet for this lunch?
A: “My step mom because she is the world to me and she always knows what to say if I am in rough times. We would meet at Chick-fil-A.”
Q: What is your favorite thing about our community?
A: “It is safe.”
Q: Where do you see yourself in five to 10 years?
A: “In the Army, buying a car, and buying a house.”
Q: What is something on your bucket list?
A: “See the ocean.”
Q: What is your go to band / singer when you cant decide what to listen to?
A: “Rod Wave.”

A: “My favorite month is January. My favorite holiday is Christmas. My best single day on the calendar is my birthday.”

A: “Sweet tea from McDonald’s.”
Q: What is something you want to do as soon as the pandemic is over?
A: “Get a tattoo.”
