Question: Please tell us a little bit about your family.
Answer: “I come from a strong and hard-working mother; Chere Rucker. I have two older brothers, Lt. Donavan Moss c/o 2018 at The United States Air Force Academy, who is now based at Joint Base Lewis McCord as a Cyberspace Operations Officer. C3C Cameron Sturdivant who currently attends The United States Air Force Academy and will graduate in 2022.”
What are your plans after graduation?
A: “To attend The United States Air Force Academy (PS) and major in Computer Science and minor in Chinese.”
Q: What are two of your favorite restaurants in our community?
A: “Taqueria El Antojito and Alpha Gyro Grill.”
Q: If you could travel anywhere in the world right now, where would it be and why?
A: “I would travel to Dubai to see experience the culture and see all the beautiful architecture.”
Q: What is one of your favorite movies? TV shows?
A: “My favorite movie is ‘The Princess and the Frog.’ My favorite TV show is ‘Criminal Minds.'”
Q: If you were asked to give advice to your senior class and the younger students at your school, what would you say?
A: “Cherish every moment and everyday. And believe in your self and in your dreams.”
Q: If you were able to be cast as yourself into a television show or series, what show would you want to be in?
A: “‘Stranger Things.'”
Q: If you could choose anyone to have lunch with, who would you choose? Why? And where, locally, would you meet for this lunch?
A: “I would choose Will Smith because he is so inspiring and seems fun to be around. I’ll meet Will Smith at Atlas Pizza because he seems like a pizza type of guy.”
Q: What is your favorite thing about our community?
A: “My favorite thing about our community is ‘We Are One Gainesville’…one big family!”
Q: Where do you see yourself in five to 10 years?
A: “In five to 10 years, I see my self as Lt. Taylor Sturdivant in the United States Air Force pursing the job of my dreams.”
Q: What is something on your bucket list?
A: “Jumping out of an airplane.”
Q: What is your go to band / singer when you cant decide what to listen to?
A: “Hands down Justin Bieber.”
Q: Favorite month? favorite holiday? and best single day on the calendar?
A: “My favorite month is December. My favorite holiday is Thanksgiving. One of the best single days on the calendar is January 1st; the start of every new year.”
Q: What would you rate a 10 out of 10?
A: “Definitely Chick-Fil-A’s strawberry milkshakes.”
Q: What is something you want to do as soon as this pandemic is finished?
A: “As soon as this pandemic is finished, I want to see all my teachers and friends one last time to say goodbye before we all move to the next chapter in our lives.”
Q: Who inspires you to be better?
A: “My mom inspires me to do better. Growing up and seeing how hard she has worked to take care of her three children and to be there for us whenever we needed her. She has shown me what true work ethic is and has motivated me to do my best at everything.”
