Meet Traci Timmons! Traci is a senior at Flowery Branch High School and was an intern with Abernathy Cochran this school year. Her parents are Ralph and Eleanor, she has two brothers and will attend Full Sail University in Orlando, Fla. after graduation to study film and production. We want to wish Traci all the best in her future endeavors!
Question: Please tell us a little bit about your family.
Answer: “My parents are Ralph and Eleanor, and I have two brothers name Troy, whose a junior in wrestling,
and Toby, a freshman in marching band. We’re originally from California, and traveling is our absolute
favorite thing to do as a family.”
Q: What are your plans after graduation?
A: “I plan on attending Full Sail University to study film and production.”
Q: What are two of your favorite restaurants in our community?
A: “Taco’s Tacos and Golden Buddha.”
Q: If you could travel anywhere in the world right now, where would it be and why?
A: “I would definitely travel to somewhere warm and exciting like Fiji or Australia because I’ve never been
to either, and I would love to have an adventure.”
Q: What is one of your favorite movies? TV shows?
A: “My favorite movie is the 2013 version of ‘The Great Gatsby,’ and my favorite show is the Netflix
docuseries ‘Broken.'”
Q: If you were asked to give advice to your senior class and the younger students at your school, what
would you say?
A: “High school will be the longest yet shortest years of your life. Throughout your time, remember to
learn from your mistakes, don’t dwell on the past, and always work on improving yourself.”
Q: If you were able to be cast as yourself into a television show or series, what show would you want
to be in?
A: “I would be on ‘Big Brother” because I’ve been watching a show with friends and family for years, and
it’s always been a dream to spend a summer competing.”
Q: If you could choose anyone to have lunch with, who would you choose? Why? And where, locally,
would you meet for this lunch?
A: “President George Washington because I think it would be extremely interesting to see what he thinks of our
modern world. I would probably take him to a local park, like Cherokee Bluffs Park, so that he didn’t
experience as much culture shock.”
Q: What is your favorite thing about our community?
A: “No matter what kind of person you are, there’s going to be something at Hall County that’ll peak your interest. Every city has a wide variety of shops, parks, and restaurants which you’ll really enjoy and want to come back to.”
Q: Where do you see yourself in five to 10 years?
A: “In five to 10 years, I hope to be prospering in my career while traveling the world and impacting others.”
Q: What is something on your bucket list?
A: “I would love to see the Northern Lights in Iceland.”
Q: What is your go to band / singer when you cant decide what to listen to?
A: “2000s throwback music for sure. It’s not a specific band or singer, but that era of music has always been my go to.”
Q: Favorite month? favorite holiday? and best single day on the calendar?
A: “My favorite month is October, my favorite holiday is Halloween and the best single day on the calendar is Jan. 1.”
Q: What would you rate a 10 out of 10?
A: “5 Seconds of Summer‘s newest album ‘CALM.'”
Q: What is something you want to do as soon as this pandemic is finished?
A: “Spend as much time as I can with my friends before we all have to move away for college.”
Q: Who inspires you to be better?
A: “My dad. He’s done a lot of amazing things in his life, and ever since I was a little kid, he’s always encouraged me to try new things without ever doubting me.”
