“My parents are Rick and Dawn Young. I am one of nine siblings originally based on Amelia Island, FL but moved to Gainesville about 10 years ago.”
What are your plans after graduation?
“I plan to receive a business degree from Berry College starting this fall.”
What are two of your favorite restaurants in our community?
“I love Alpha Gyro Grill and Eat at Thai.”
If you could travel anywhere in the world right now, where would it be and why?
“I would love to visit Italy for the food and sun!”
What is one of your favorite movies? TV shows?
“‘Pride and Prejudice’ is my favorite movie and I love ‘Gilmore Girls.'”
If you were asked to give advice to your senior class and the younger students at your school, what would you say?
“I would say live in each moment. You don’t know how long you have left and who’s gonna be in your life so cherish everyone and everything.”
If you were able to be cast as yourself into a television show or series, what show would you want to be in?
“‘New Girl.'”
If you could choose anyone to have lunch with, who would you choose? Why? And where, locally, would you meet for this lunch?
“I would love to meet with the musical artist Renee Rapp. She truly inspires me in the way she lives her life authentically. I would definitely take her to Gyro Grill.”
What is your favorite thing about our community?
“The proximity to the mountains.”
Where do you see yourself in 5 to 10 years?
“Somewhere in the mountains living my best life.”
What is something on your bucket list?
“Visit the Amazon Rainforest.”
