Edwin Hughs
Edwin Hughs is one of the younger members of the Norton Team and works as the Project Logistics director. Hughs attended Auburn University and spent time in Savannah and Charleston, S.C. over the years.
Hughs likes to hang out on the square in his spare time, specifically the popular pizza spot Atlas Pizza and First Friday events on the Downtown Gainesville square. He also would love to travel to Paris someday and thinks the most interesting person he has ever met is local artist Rosemary Dodd.
He has had several jobs over the years but he says his favorite and most satisfying was, “When I was a bike delivery man in Charleston.”
Hughs added that the secret to life is to simply relax and be yourself!
Which truly is the way he lives; in the moment and having fun. To prove that is his “Lost Passies” album on his Facebook page. What started out as a joke turned into something even funnier and now his “Lost Passies” album has nearly 80 submissions.
The description of the album says,”So, one day I took a photo of a lost passie on the ground and posted it to Facebook–then it took on a life of it’s own.”
