Giovanna GoldenGiovanna Golden has lived in Hall County for 16 years and she is originally from the Gwinnett/Norcross area. Giovanna is a happy mother and portfolio administrator at Gainesville’s Willis Investment Counsel. She may lead a seemingly traditional life, but she dreams of exploring all parts of the world and immersing herself in many cultures.
Question: Who is the most interesting person you’ve met here in Hall County?
Answer: “Tommy Aaron, he told stories of early Gainesville that are so intriguing – about the old golf course and other notable Gainesville spots.”
Q: What is your favorite social outing in the area?
A: “I love going to Marketplace.”  Marketplace is Festive Holiday Shopping event that occurs each November at the Gainesville Civic Center.
Q: What piece of advice would you give to a crowd of people?
A: “Have no regrets.”
Q: What is your favorite movie?
A: “’Steel Magnolias.’”
Q: Who are the top three bands you would like to see live in concert?
A: “Jason Aldean, Luke Bryan and Eric Church”
Q: What is your favorite thing about Hall County?
A: “The fact that you know everyone.”
Q: If you could choose anyone, with whom would you like to have lunch?
A: “I would love to have lunch with my grandparents who passed many years ago. I think at this stage in my life I realized the time missed with them.”
Q: What is your spirit animal?
A: “A tiger. That is where my birthday falls on the Chinese calendar. I’m the year of the tiger. Quiet, but very passionate.”
Q: What is your favorite restaurant in Hall County, and what do you love there?
A: “Recess, their fish and chips and their macaroni and cheese are both favorites of mine.”
Q: What is something on your bucket list?
A: “I would like to travel to all corners of the world and experience different cultures, local customs and experience the food scene.”
Q:  Where do you see yourself in five or 10 years?
A: “I hope to have my four year degree and turn my focus on traveling.”
