We want to thank Jonathan for taking time with us to tell us more about his life and love of Hall County.
Question: What inspired you or lead you to your current career?
Answer: “Rockport soccer started with a dream. When the opportunity presented itself I was able to put some ideas together and make the dream a reality. It has grown from there.”
Q: What is your favorite restaurant in Hall County, and what do you love there?
A: “Lupita. I love it because it tastes like grandma’s home cooking.”
Q: How long have you lived or worked in Hall County?
A: “I have worked in Hall County for almost 10 years.”
Q: Who is the most interesting person you’ve met here in Hall County?
A: “I have met so many influential people here I don’t think I can pick one is specific. When you own a business you know so many people and see so many faces.”
Q: If you could travel anywhere in the world right now, where would it be? And why?
A: “I would love to go to Argentina because they have a massive soccer game coming up and I would love to go to it.”
Q: What is your favorite movie or what is the first movie you remember seeing in a theatre?
A: “I am the worst movie viewer. I can count on my hands how many movies I have seen. I prefer to read.”
Q: What advice would you give a crowd of people?
A: “Life is a really big pill to swallow. It’s not what social media portrays it to be. Especially with money and success. It’s not always going to be easy so really enjoy the good moments.”
Q: What is something on your bucket list?
A: “Buy a really nice and expensive car .”
Q: What is your favorite music/ 3 bands you would like to see (dead or alive)?
A: “I love rock and roll. The Rolling Stones, Pearl Jam, and The Who.”
Q: Choosing anyone alive and a non-relative: with whom would you love to have lunch? Why? Where is Hall County would you have lunch?
A: “I would love to go to San Diego and have lunch with Eddie Vedder who is the lead singer of Pearl Jam.”
Q: What is your favorite thing about Hall County?
A: “The diversity. You get a little bit of everything. You can eat a burger, Salvadorian food, and go two minutes down the road and eat Mexican.”
Q: Where do you see yourself in five or 10 years?
A: “I would love to have grown my business and be established.”
Q: (Even for friends or family), what is something interesting that most people don’t know about you?
A: “I love read about the universe and science.”
Q: What three words or phrases come to mind when you think of the word HOME?
A: “Safety, food, and relaxation.”
